Examination Rooms

Next you will be politely escorted into one of our spacious examination rooms by one of our technicians. Here we perform complete physical examinations and outpatient procedures. Our exam rooms are our classrooms for education. Our primary emphasis is preventive health care. We provide handouts for a wide array of topics including exotic husbandry and nutrition. A complete video library for obedience training and puppy/kitten care is also available for your viewing pleasure. We pride ourselves in communication. We want you to leaving here with a full understanding of your pet's condition. We take our time with EVERY pet to assure all your needs are met.

Pharmacy

Weston Road Animal Hospital has a complete dispensing pharmacy for your convience. Our hospital staff is constantly updating our education and inventory with the latest drugs. We offer a complete line of prescription drugs, heartworm preventions, flea/tick preventions, supplements and vitamins.
For our smaller and exotic patients we can provide liquid medications with delicious flavoring for easier acceptance and administration. For fast and easy refills, call ahead and we will have your pet's medication waiting for you at the front desk. All prescription drugs are dispensed with child resistent safety caps for your family's protection.

Treatment Area

Welcome to the heart of our hospital. This area is equipped to perform a variety of nonsterile procedures and examinations. All of our dentistry is performed here and surgical preparation begins here. We also keep our small and exotic intensive care patients in climate controlled incubators in this area for constant observation.

Specialists

We have a wide variety of specialists available on-call, for internal medicine, ultrasound, surgery, and neurology, who will meet with us (and you) at our office. Here, an ultrasound exam is performed by Dr. Woody Hayes and staff.

Our surgical area is equipped with all of the latest technology for your pet, in order to make surgery as safe and pain free as possible. State of the art patient monitoring is always used, and special instruments for electrosurgery and endoscopy are available. Some of our equipment even comes from human hospitals.

Our radiology area gives us the ability to perform procedures as simple as a standard radiograph (X-ray), or as complicated as special dye studies to evaluate internal organ function. Automated processors allow us to have dry, ready to read films in just minutes. Board certified radiologist and cardiologists are available on-call for consultation as well.

Boarding Area

We maintain a small number of clean, air-conditioned indoor kennels with ventilated and padded floors. We offer a variety of sized kennels allowing a comfortable area for pets of all sizes. Each pet is exercised regularly with all meals, medications, appetite, and eliminations recorded every day. We offer TLC boarding for owners who like their pets to spend minimal time inside the kennel. For pets it helps to ease the stress of being apart from their loved ones. TLC boarding includes several extended length walks, play periods and gentle coat maintenance sessions. You are encouraged to bring in any toys, blankets, medications, treats or food you wish. We feed Science Diet, a premium well balanced diet to all dogs and cats.

Ward Area

Healthy patients, whether taking advantage of our "drop-off" services, daycare, bathing, grooming, or boarding, stay here. Kitty Condos

Kitty condos provide your loved one with plenty of space, a ledge to sleep on and a private litterbox area. Your kitty can have up to 4 connecting units. Once open, your kitty can move from side to side and then up and down from the unit below. Each unit provides a private area to use the litterbox or for shy kitty's who want a secluded area away from view.
